4 Reasons Your Business Needs to Be On Pinterest

4 reasons your online business needs to be on Pinterest Marketing by kerrie

Pinterest can be a goldmine for your business, for so many reasons. Here are 4 specific reasons why it’s a no brainer for you to get started with a Pinterest strategy!

The more people you send to your website, the more you can retarget them. Ever hear of a facebook pixel? 💥 BAM Drive traffic then retarget with FB. ⁣

You can send pinners to any piece of content, thousands of times, with a single pin. Now imagine if you have thousands of pins, do the math.  You can use blogs, podcasts, product pages, your website, lead magnets, instagram content, FB videos, youtube videos, etc⁣

⁣Are you a service or coaching biz? Generate hundreds of new leads a month! You can send pinners to a freebie or lead magnet that you’ve created where you then capture their email. You can use fun quizzes from companies like interact or leadquizzes, or create landing pages with an opt in. Be creative but be strategic.

If you are going to go the landing page/freebie route, make sure your landing page has valuable information. A simple opt in page will not work. Why? Because pinners are coming at you COLD! They are at the top of the sales funnel so your landing page has to be providing enough value to get them to hand over an email.⁣

One mistake I see over and over are businesses that do not focus on enough marketing channels to build up proper visibility. Friends, visibility is everything in getting your business in front of eyeballs.

Don’t make the mistake of only focusing your efforts on Instagram.Your business NEEDS presence on multiple platforms. Building a presence on Pinterest will help you get in front of NEW ideal customers. It will also help you show up on google results. YES, I said show up on GOOGLE. This is huge. Take a minute and search for something. Put a keyword phrase into google and scroll through a few pages.I bet you will see a pin result in one of the pages. Pinterest is more like google, and less like twitter or instagram. The best part is that it helps your google presence, and having visibility on the #1 search platform is pretty important.

Whether you are an ecommerce or service business, you can sell your physical products and digital products DIRECTLY on pinterest. Pinterest has buyable pins that you can create durectly from Pinterest. If you have shopify, you can connect your account and pinterest will pull information directly from your online catalog!

You can also create pins that link directly to your product pages on your website. Its so easy!

There are a million ways you can use Pinterest strategically. These work for service and product businesses, subscription and e-commerce, Coaches and service businesses⁣

So tell me, how are you going to use Pinterest strategically for your business?
